My Thoughts On Analogue:
Isn't odd that, in 2005, I'm buying a new CD from a band that came out in the mid-eighties? I'm ancient! Anyhow, Analogue continues right where Lifelines left off with much more mellow, reflective songs. I didn't take to it at first, but over time I found it to be a good deal better than Lifelines. I really like the fifth track, Birthright, and that song was in a tie for my favorite song off this CD. But in the end, the title track was just a more energizing, well-rounded song. Lots of other songs on Analogue have really interesting moments, like Holyground, Over The Treetops, A Fine Blue Line, and The Summers Of Our Youth. There were about four songs on the album I didn't care for, but otherwise this is one of A-ha's better CDs, in my opinion.
