Movable Type Publishing Platform

The first blogging software I ever used was WordPress, because it came preinstalled with my hosting account. I was using it for this site and for news on my gaming guild's website (www.thecabal.net). Then along comes a hacker who showed me that WordPress is not a very secure program, at least in its default installation. So, I just stopped using blogging software.

Recently, I've read a lot about a more professional blogging software called Movable Type from Six Apart (www.sixapart.com). Lots of sites I read on a regular basis use it, it seems very secure, and has some nice comment spam filtering plugins. Today, I just switched to using Movable Type for the "bloggy" portions of my website. It's $69.95 for personal sites (up to 5 users), and that sounds fair to me.
