Dan's Jams Music Reviews

I created a simple black and gold template for my friend’s music review site, Dan’s Jams (www.dansjams.com). He uses the OrangeCD music database program to list his extensive personal music CD collection and adds reviews about his favorite bands and their music. I learned about lots of bands from Dan that I would have never gotten into otherwise, including Prong, Helmet, Killswitch Engage, Meshuggah, Mnemic and Raunchy.

Six Weeks Of Burning Fat

Today, I'm starting Six Weeks Of Burning Fat. I'm using the techniques outlined by Tom Venuto (www.fitren.com) , as well as the bodybuilding / fat loss principles detailed in books by Chris Aceto (www.nutramedia.com). His two most popular fitness books are Championship Bodybuilding and Everything You Need To Know About Fat Loss. In addition, I will be learning some recipes from, Laura Creaville, which are found in her books, The Lite Lifestyle and A Taste Of Club Creaville. I'd recommend these websites and books to anyone looking to get fit.

Think And Grow Rich

I plan on listing a bunch of quotes and thoughts about the nature of personal reality in the "Intention" section of my site. Basically, the concept of creating one's own reality involves thought, belief, desire, emotion and intention. I've found this concept repeated in a number of books on the subject and I've always wanted to build a quote database from those, as well as some of my own experiences with applying that concept. I have Think And Grow Rich done, so I'll start by posting those. This will allow me to learn how to put up a randomization script on my sidenav which will list different quotes on different days.

OrangeCD Music Database

Anyone who’s looking for a good music database program should check out OrangeCD (www.firetongue.com). It runs on your home PC, but it also allows you to publish your CD collection to the Web. I’m using it to flesh out the “Music” section of my site.

Back To Amsterdam

First place that I will visit when I start traveling again will be Amsterdam. No, not for the red light district. It's simply a very historic, interesting and beautiful city. I was there three times while I was in the Army and it's actually in a good spot to jump on a train and go just about anywhere. Actually, once I'm as rich as I plan to be, I think I'd like to have a permanent apartment in Europe that I can use whenever I want to go over there and run around. Amsterdam sounds like a good place for that.
